A multi skill development centre (MSDC) inaugurated at Larkipali, Balangir

Balangir MP Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo on Sunday formally inaugurated a Multi Skill Development Centre (MSDC) at Larkipali.

The MSDC is expected to go a long way in providing further livelihood opportunities to youth and other sections of people of Balangir district, which is part of the KBK region. It is aimed at providing free training to educated unemployed youth, and after successful completion of the training they would be assured of jobs, said Singh Deo.

A total of 1,723 rural BPL youth have been identified all over the district to undergo the training. Presently, training is being given on two trades – sewing machine operator and hospitality. After completion of the training, they are assured of a placement, informed Zonal Manager, ORMAS, Sambalpur, Kamlendu Pal.

    By hook or crook DADAN problem should be rooted out.The step taken for undergoing training is well only if engagement is provided to the trainees after completin of their training,unless the programme will be like neumerous government projects/programmes/schemes-whcih abolished after govt.money squeezed by concerned department.It is good only -in the meaning that some thing is better than nothing.
